R Marine Sydney cooks up a storm on Darling Harbour
Darling Harbour, Sydney, Australia: Riviera owners from around Sydney had the chance to test their culinary skills at Sydney’s Fish Markets Cooking School on Saturday, March 15.
The afternoon began with a raft up at Cockle Bay Wharf, Darling Harbour where they enjoyed seafood platters and champagne on the dock before boarding a Riviera 43 Open Flybridge and Riviera 5000 Sport Yacht to be transported to Australia’s leading seafood cooking school.
Established in 1989, the Sydney Fish Market cooking school provides a unique cooking experience. All classes begin with a demonstration of the dish to be prepared in the tiered auditorium before participants try their hand at recreating the dish using the custom-made, stainless steel cooking islands.
Riviera owners joined the team from R Marine Sydney for this afternoon cooking experience. Donned in special R Marine Sydney aprons they were ready to take on the flavours of the sea preparing red curry scallops with mango mint salsa for an entrée, which was followed by orange spiced swordfish for the main meal. Enjoyed with a glass of wine and the company of fellow Riviera owners made for a thoroughly entertaining afternoon.
