Chairman and owner Rodney Longhurst said the new owners of the latest and luxurious Riviera motor yachts purchased at the Sydney show could look forward to a whole new world of customer care, which includes exclusive invitations to social events and unique cruising experiences.

“It is always inspiring to welcome new owners to the growing global Riviera family of owners and, on behalf of our 450-strong team of designers, engineers and master craftsmen in Australia, and our international dealer network that spans some 60 countries, I’d like to extend a very warm welcome to these new and current family members,” he said.

Mr Longhurst also said it is extremely gratifying that the latest purchases span the entire Riviera range – from the classic blue-water Flybridge collection to the stylish and sophisticated Sport Yachts, the sporty and adventurous SUV series and even the 2016 release of the new luxurious and long-range Sports Motor Yacht design.

“We now have solid forward commitments for many of our new models that extend out over the next 16 months. Our new 67 Sports Motor Yacht, for instance: six of these long-range, purpose-built luxury cruising yachts have already been sold with the first model due for release in 2016,” he said.

“That is great news for every member of our world-class team who plays such an important role in delivering on our promise of producing the best Rivieras ever,” he said.

“We are actively recruiting new team members, training apprentices, and we are refining lean manufacturing principles at our world-class facility at Coomera on Australia’s Gold Coast in order to meet the surge in worldwide demand.”

Mr Longhurst said visitors stepping aboard the Riviera range at the marque’s stunning, eight-yacht Sydney showcase – which included the supremely seaworthy new 57 Enclosed Flybridge at her World Premiere – enthusiastically expressed their appreciation for Riviera’s continued investment in new model development and exacting eye for quality detail from fit to finish.

“Riviera has an ethos of excellence in everything we do and this was certainly on show for all to see in Sydney – all the way from our luxurious line-up of Riviera motor yachts right through to our spectacular marina party on the Saturday night,” he said.

“The Let Us Entertain You event in Sydney was a sold out weeks in advance and we were thrilled to be able to delight hundreds of visitors to Darling Harbour when our first-class live entertainment was televised across big screens for all to enjoy.”

Mr Longhurst said Sydney International Boat Show has been a great event for Riviera and the dedicated R Marine dealers across Australia and New Zealand who are continuing discussions with several more aspiring owners who were very impressed by what they saw in Riviera in Sydney.

“Certainly our experience in Sydney from visitors to our display is that they are very positive and extremely energised about going boating in a new Riviera, sooner rather than later,” he said.

“We will be doing all we can to help these new and aspiring Riviera owners to achieve … ‘the ultimate boating experience’.”
