Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Amid the sea of luxury yachts on display at Dubai International Boat Show was one distinctive and deluxe design that certainly grabbed the attention of every astute boating aficionado: the majestic new 77 Enclosed Flybridge from the revered Riviera marque.

The strong interest at the show alone is but one measure of the successful world premiere of the largest, most luxurious and most technologically advanced Riviera ever built.

Another is the fact that – just a month since her Dubai debut – the iconic Australian luxury yacht builder can now confirm two further orders for its impressive new flagship, taking production well into 2015.

The new 77 Enclosed Flybridge is a serious, long-range offshore vessel with an impeccable blue-water pedigree, and with a level of luxury that genuinely reflects Riviera’s hallmark passion for perfection.

However, it is her progressive design that truly puts her in a league of her own.

Riviera worked closely with the owners of the new 77 Enclosed Flybridge, Life Serenity, to personalise the spacious saloon.

Life Serenity, to personalise the spacious saloon.

This is perhaps most evident even before you step aboard – massive forward windows offer panoramic 360-degree views from the luxurious saloon deck while shapely, symmetrical and sweeping 10m x 0.5m safety glass feature panels are bonded to each side of her colossal hull, providing an impeccable surface finish and allowing natural light to filter through to all the accommodation deck staterooms, as well as maintaining the strong structural integrity for which Riviera is globally renowned.

The 77 Enclosed Flybridge on display in Dubai, christened Life Serenity, was developed in close consultation with her Emirates-based owner and features a range of premium options specifically tailored for the Middle East and North Africa market, including custom heat-curing of its hand-crafted deck and flybridge to withstand the extreme temperatures of the region.

Riviera chairman and owner Rodney Longhurst said the 430-strong team of international designers, boat-builders, engineers and master craftsmen knew early in the design phase that the new Riviera 77 was a revolutionary new yacht.

“She is in fact the most significant Riviera built in 35 years so it was clear we had to launch her as our flagship, one which further defines the Riviera hallmarks of innovation and technology that underpin our position on the international stage,” he said.

SF Yachts LLC dealer principal Franceso Pitea said Life Serenity captured a great deal of interest amid a sea of luxury yachts in Dubai, the No 1 marine luxury, leisure and lifestyle industry event in the region which was this year attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as well as tens of thousands of distinguished dignitaries and luxury yacht enthusiasts.

The beautiful new Riviera 77 Enclosed Flybridge – with its striking Bentley Blue hull, stylish, sophisticated and palatial interior, and state-of-the-art marine technology – will now be showcased at other key locations throughout the region, courtesy of her proud new owner, Riviera and SF Yachts LLC.

“The 77 Enclosed Flybridge is a perfect mix of cruising and fishing capabilities with ultra-modern marine technology, plush and palatial appointments – indeed she boasts all the comforts of a world-class luxury resort,” said Mr Pitea.

“She defines a new era for a company already respected on an international scale for its exceptional build quality, superior sea-keeping abilities and exacting eye for detail, all the way from lamination and engineering and right through to final fit and finish.

“The word ‘excellence’ is sometimes overused but it forms a key part of the ethos that runs through every aspect of Riviera. This commitment to constant refinement and continual evolution which has positioned Riviera amongst the global leaders in their field.”

Hulls numbered 77/02 and 77/03 are now under construction at Riviera’s world-class production facility at Coomera on Australia’s Gold Coast – one bound for Brunei and one for Dubai.

SF Yachts LLC, and other Riviera dealers are now in discussions with other aspiring owners interested in the new 77 Enclosed Flybridge.

Riviera chairman and owner Rodney Longhurst said the fact the 77 Enclosed Flybridge had enjoyed such strong interest in the weeks since her world premiere confirmed the marque among the global leaders in building luxury yachts for astute owners.

“It’s extremely encouraging that boating aficionados have embraced the new Riviera 77 Enclosed Flybridge so warmly,” he said. “And it’s also a credit to the 430-strong team of talented international designers, boat-builders, engineers and master craftsmen, to the dedicated and hard-working team at SF Yachts LLC.”
