The Space Ship of the Riviera fleet 53 Enclosed Flybridge
Riviera’s 53 Enclosed Flybridge exhibits powerful and noble lines and has been carefully designed to maxmimise internal capacity with effective use of light and space while offering almost 360 degree views from the saloon. From the expansive cockpit through the well-appointed aft galley, spacious saloon and accommodation for six to eight people in three staterooms with two bathrooms, the master being a full beam suite. The enclosed flybridge is reminiscent of a large sky lounge featuring a helm station forward and a C-shaped lounge aft with a hi-lo table and wet bar opposite, making this a very comfortable and relaxing entertaining space.
Here’s what boating journalist Mike Werling from Sea Magazine (USA) had to say about the 53 Enclosed Flybridge.
“Riviera celebrated its 5,000th build in November 2013. That’s a lot of hulls in the water. That’s a lot of time to experiment and get things right. It’s a lot of time for a builder to evolve from sport-fishing to a cruiser-friendly builder that hasn’t forgotten its roots but knows what boaters want and is determined to deliver. The 53 Enclosed Flybridge is an example of a growing breed of yacht on which fishability is a feature, not its identity, allowing it to be many things to many people – a yacht that’s cruiseworthy with fishing in its DNA.”
