There were ‘Good Vibrations’ and ‘Fun, Fun, Fun’ in the air when R Marine Jones hosted a special gold-class Rendezvous to The Beach Boys concert at Bribie Island recently.

Although the weather wasn’t quite in tune and there was only a white water ‘Surfin’ Safari’ on offer in Moreton Bay, nothing could dampen the enthusiasm of 25 guests who enjoyed a 1.5-hour bus ride with en route entertainment and refreshments to the Sandstone Point Hotel, just west of Bribie Island Bridge, where they met up with fellow Riviera owners for a night of fun.

The gold tickets reserved by R Marine Jones included a beautiful buffet dinner set out in a private room under the main area of the hotel, followed by VIP seating just 20 metres from the stage, where the ‘old boys’ belted out their greatest hits.
