Birthday treat for a 48 Enclosed Flybridge

“This 48 Flybridge is a really nice yacht and the owner returns to Aftermarket every year and gives her a birthday present,” said Aftermarket manager Michael Swain.
“We know this boat very well – she was based in Indonesia for her first few years before being purchased by her existing owner.
“She now travels between Newcastle (NSW) and Hope Island (QLD) – a distance of 325 nautical miles.
“This year we gave her a full re-spray from the waterline up, as well as a premium anti-foul from the waterline down.
“We removed all the exterior fastenings, rails and doors, sanded her right back and given her a complete exterior makeover.”
In addition to the re-spray, the raft of 2016 birthday presents included new engine room hatch hinges, new 316-grade marine stainless steel latches, new lights, a new gunwale with stainless steel insert and new mattresses.
“Thanks to some tender loving care from her owner, she now has a brand-new lease of life and is ready for the coming season,” said Michael.
