Boating Partnerships syndication service launched at Sydney

Boating Partnerships syndication service launched at Sydney

The new syndication service Boating Partnerships enjoyed a very successful boat show debut in Sydney, finalising the shared purchase of a stylish and sophisticated new Riviera 6000 Sport Yacht between four new owners.

Managing director Tom van Vliet said there is also strong interest in a range of other new Rivieras being offered under the new Boating Partnerships arrangements.

“The four new owners of the 6000 Sport Yacht have agreed to cruise the east coast of Australia between Sydney and Hamilton Island, stopping at the world-class Riviera facility on the Gold Coast for all their servicing by factory trained experts,” he said.

“There was also very strong interest in the new 525 and 445 SUVs, and the 5000 Sport Yacht to be based in Sydney, as well as the new 6000 Sport Yacht that will be based at Hamilton Island.

Make the most of your precious leisure time by exploring secluded bays and
beaches with the help of Boating Partnerships, created to help busy people
take the helm of a sporty and adventurous Riviera 445 SUV.

“We are very pleased to have had such an encouraging response at Sydney International Boat Show, and in addition to discussions in the above models, we are now also considering a 3600 Sport Yacht for Port Stephens.”

Boating Partnerships enables those with a passion for boating, but have only limited time, to enjoy the relaxing and rewarding lifestyle on offer when you purchase a brand-new Riviera luxury motor yacht.

Mr van Vliet said discussions with aspiring Riviera owners at Sydney International Boat Show confirmed the attraction of limited shares being offered in each luxurious new motor yacht, as well as the fact Boating Partnerships is the only syndication service with the official endorsement and support of Australia’s favourite and most awarded luxury motor yacht manufacturer Riviera.

“Boating Partnerships shares the purchase and monthly maintenance of a brand-new Riviera or Belize motor yacht with up to six like-minded partners,” he said. “People like the ownership structure, the transparency with fees and the fact they have a say on the day-to-day operation of the boat,” he said.

The new service offers many new and exclusive benefits to boating enthusiasts who are looking for a premium concierge-style syndication ownership that allows for more time on the water and is a fantastic opportunity for those who appreciate the supreme levels of luxury, superior sea-keeping capabilities and state-of-the-art marine technology that are hallmark features of a world-class Riviera.

“Owners can now share the ultimate boating experience in more ways than one, realising the dream of turning weekends into holidays afloat in secluded bays or anchored off private beaches … or cruising in company across pristine blue waters to idyllic destinations,” said Mr van Vliet.

“Each shareholder under the new Boating Partnerships arrangement will enjoy all the benefits of being part of the global family of Riviera luxury motor yacht owners, as well as the unrivalled aftermarket support of the nationwide R Marine Network of Riviera and Belize dealers.”

Each partner in a Riviera operated under the Boating Partnerships program enters a tenancy in common and receives a title of ownership in proportion to the share they have purchased, protecting their equity in the yacht. Boating Partnerships agreements are for a period of three years and are based on a one-sixth share where owners will be able to enjoy a minimum of at least 52 days each year aboard, plus the ability to book additional days that are unreserved within a 48-hour stand-by function . In addition, the booking platform allows owners to easily swap days amongst each other as well as request popular days such as school holidays.

Mr van Vliet said a professional crew will maintain each Riviera in premium condition for the ownership period, and the annual maintenance, slipping and berthing costs are affordably shared between the yacht’s owners. Everything is managed by the experienced and dedicated Boating Partnerships team and the nearest R Marine dealership.

“With Boating Partnerships, the choice of how to use their new luxury Riviera is agreed by the shareholders and the Boating Partnerships team,” he said.

“Boating Partnerships owners can base their boats in, say, Sydney or the Gold Coast, and then the shareholders may choose to cruise to the Whitsundays where they can chase the endless summer … such is the flexibility of this new program. In so doing, owners will have the unique experience of coastal passage-making under the guidance of an experienced sea captain between ports on the east coast of Australia,” he said.

Boating Partnerships is offering an impressive range of brand-new Riviera luxury motor yachts at various locations on Australia’s eastern seaboard, spanning the marque’s legendary and …… model collections. These include:

  • Sydney Harbour – 445 SUV, 525 SUV, 5000 Sport Yacht and 6000 Sport Yacht
  • Pittwater – 445 SUV, 43 Open Flybridge and new 52 Enclosed Flybridge

  • Whitsundays – 5000 Sport Yacht, 6000 Sport Yacht and the new 52 Enclosed Flybridge and 57 Enclosed Flybridge models.

Additionally, the Riviera 6000 Sport Yacht finalised at Sydney International Boat Show will be joined by a new Riviera 57 Enclosed Flybridge in travelling the east coast of Australia between Sydney and Hamilton Island, and owners are invited and encouraged to complete these passages with Riviera’s experienced captain on the way north or south.

“Other Riviera and Belize models will also be soon be available through Boating Partnerships, including the timelessly classic Belize 54 Daybridge,” said Mr van Vliet.

“It’s very exciting to confirm that the full benefits of Boating Partnerships new luxury motor yacht ownership will extend to Riviera’s educational workshops and seminars, to exclusive invitations to Riviera’s popular social events around the world, as well as to special Experience voyages cruising in company of fellow Riviera owners to idyllic destinations.

“I’m very excited that Boating Partnerships will enable even more people to enjoy what Riviera likes to call: ‘the ultimate boating experience’.”
