Sandringham-based R Marine Jacksons held a fun-filled, informal get-together at the Paynesville Motor Cruiser Club ahead of the Paynesville Gold Cup power boat racing recently. Dealer principal Stuart Jackson reports a great time was had by all on the night, followed by some edge-of-your-seat racing where the R Marine Jacksons team managed fourth outright. “We had a bump in one of the races with another boat but we kept going – a quick fibreglass repair overnight and we were ready to race again.” Some Riviera owners were invited into the pit area for a closer inspection of the boats and their safety equipment, while others opted to watch all the action from the water.”
