Hawaiian Beach Luau Christmas Party
R Marine Crawley – Runaway Bay, Queensland
The RMC Club operated by Runaway Bay dealer R Marine Crawley certainly knows how to celebrate a year of success, with an Hawaiian Beach Luau Christmas Party under the big pavilion at Couran Cove Resort on South Stradbroke Island on December 5.
Dealer Principal Ben Crawley said the venue was changed from Currigee as the number of guests started to quickly build, with an eventual total of over 120 people and 30 yachts who were provided with berths at the resort marina.
“We also provided shuttle service to the party from our dealership at Runaway Bay aboard our Riviera 47 Flybridge for larger numbers, and on a response BRIG and Haines Hunter for smaller groups of people,” he said.
“It was a terrific day with really great people – fantastic food and first-class entertainment.”
In keeping with the Hawaiian theme, guests enjoyed a three-course feast as well as refreshments and light snacks whilst serenaded by a three-piece band and dancers. There was also a range of activities for the kids to ensure everyone had a great time.
“Couran Cove is a great area with great protection from the elements and thanks to new manager and Riviera owner Greg Rekers for helping us out at the last minute,” said Ben.
“It’s always fun to interact with the RMC Club members who always know how to have a good time.”
Some special prizes were awarded on the day with Braedon and Patti being awarded Best Dressed Couple, Matt and Shae awarded Worst Dressed Couple, and Euro Marine taking home the Best Dressed Team prize. The Best Imitation of an R Marine Crawley staff member was Chris Aldridge … specifically for his t-shirt.
“We had a great year in 2015, being honoured with the Sales Excellence Award for a Riviera and Belize dealer, continuing to build a great team of marine professionals and welcoming more new members to the RMC Club and Riviera Family,” said Ben, who was also awarded the Individual Sales Excellence Award.
“We are looking forward to a fantastic and fun-filled 2016.”
