Riviera launched a new contemporary interiors collection for the full Riviera range as well as those exclusive to the striking new 6000 Sport Yacht at the recent Sydney International Boat Show.

The new 6000 Sport Yacht made her world-premiere at the Sydney International Boat Show and featured the stunning new carpet and fabric choices available only for this new model.

“People had an opportunity to view the new interior selections on board the 6000 Sport Yacht at the show, which included exclusive benchtops and soft furnishings,” said R Interior’s consultant Amanda Wesener.

“The new fabric designs and solid surfaces have been designed to give owners more options and a more contemporary style to their boats with textured fabrics offering Riviera owners a more tactile experience.”

The new fabrics are available in larger swatch samples so that customers can feel the texture of the fabric and see more of the pattern to assist with their interior decor selection.

Mrs Wesener said R Interiors had also launched a range of new interior fabrics, solid surfaces, carpets and soft furnishings for all new Riviera boats.

“We have selected the ultra leather for our bed surrounds and bed heads because of its durability and it is easy to clean,” she said.

“We also have four unique new soft furnishing ranges, which have been selected based on customer feedback and are available in a cotton or linen blend.  These new ranges give owners the option to select colour co-ordinating or contrasting bed linen and cushions from neutral, classic tones through to bold, striking colours.

“The Natural range gives a Hamptons coastal feel with neutral tones and the option to add teal or tangerine accents.  Our Pumice range is a neutral package with striking chocolate hues featuring textured and striped fabrics to give a warm, homely feel.  The Lagoon range is inspired by fun, vibrant fabrics to give a truly nautical theme with a combination of red, blue and white solid or striped fabrics.  Our Envy package is very classic with crisp white tones coupled with vibrant tones and bold prints to bring a youthful feel to your interiors.”

In the galley and bathrooms, owners can select from a new range of Corian solid surfaces which give an authentic stone surface look combined with the added benefits of Corian’s flexibility.  Throughout the accommodation area and saloon, owners can now select from a new range of 100 per cent wool carpet in a range of modern colours and textures.

“One hundred per cent wool is luxurious to the touch, it feels very plush and soft and being a natural fibre it can cope with heavy traffic throughout the saloon and companionways.

“We are also pleased to announce a new range of metallic exterior paints as standard for the boot and pinstripe.  The new colour selections are favoured among luxury car manufacturers with metallic silvers, browns and charcoals to complement your hull colour.

“Our new exterior fabrics also come in a range of colours, textures and prints offering sporty stripes with a plain bolster or a suede look fabric to give an interior feel.  All our exterior fabrics are marine grade, which offer the comfort and feel of an interior fabric with the added benefits of UV protection, wearability and washability.  We always recommend our Warwick Halo Fabric Care Kit to keep your interior and exterior fabrics in pristine condition.”
