Riviera – a name synonymous worldwide with hallmark quality, luxury, blue-water sea-keeping abilities and unrivalled owner support – has confirmed its impressive Cannes line-up will include the stylish and sophisticated 4400 Sport Yacht, the true blue-water classic 45 Open Flybridge, and the timelessly classic 54 Daybridge from the Belize Motoryachts collection.

Riviera international sales director Chris McCafferty said Cannes Yachting Festival, with over 50,000 visitors, is the first industry show of the Mediterranean season and one of the leading in-water boat shows in Europe.

“Previously known as Festival de la Plaisance de Cannes, this glittering setting has been made famous by the annual Cannes Film Festival and makes for the perfect place for what has become known as ‘the ultimate rendezvous’,” he said.

“What better place to share our philosophy of creating ‘the ultimate boating experience’.”

Mr McCafferty said Riviera’s latest luxurious motor yachts have been very well received in the Americas and he is certain the European market will be equally impressed.

Riviera 4400 Sport Yacht

The multi-award winning Riviera 4400 Sport Yacht is supremely comfortable with clever and convenient alfresco lifestyle design, ultramodern technology and fine detail appointments.

“The cockpit of the 4400 Sport Yacht boasts features such as generous forward and aft-facing lounge, convertible table, a full wet bar with sink, solid surface bench-top, stainless steel refrigerator, optional ice-maker, enormous transom storage locker, and equally impressive swim platform with optional hydraulic lift,” said Mr McCafferty.

“The free-flowing feel throughout the 4400 is enhanced with a large glass awning window which opens between the cockpit and spacious saloon, bringing the outdoors inside and placing the large aft galley on the starboard side in the centre of the entertainment zone.

“Her luxurious saloon is spacious and light-filled – a true entertainer’s delight – with electrically operated sunroof, leather lounge, adjustable-height table, excellent storage, 26” LCD TV and ergonomically designed helm station with twin Volvo Penta IPS 600 pod propulsion package with D6 engines (320kW/435hp), with joysticks located at both the helm and the cockpit.”

The accommodation deck of the 4400 Sport Yacht features two large staterooms including a forward queen-sized island master and full-width VIP aft stateroom with double and single beds.

Riviera 45 Open Flybridge

The Riviera 45 Open Flybridge – powered by twin Cummins QSC 600 shaft-drive engines (478kW/650hp) – incorporates great function and style within a supremely comfortable, sea-kindly hull.

“The command centre of the 45 Open Flybridge is accessible from the cockpit via a moulded staircase featuring teak treads and highly polished stainless steel hand rails on both sides, and LED lighting for night-time safety,” said Mr McCafferty.

“The main saloon is an invitation to relax and indulge, and is truly striking in its spaciousness – generous headroom, intelligent layout with warm, contemporary fittings and furnishings, fully equipped forward galley to port and even overhead storage in the headliner,” he said. “This saloon space is both elegant and practical, with seating for up to seven adults with an aft L-shaped lounge to port and equally large L-shaped lounge with folding dining table on the starboard side. Owners have an option of a saloon helm and versatile starboard lounge seating arrangement if they wish to steer their yacht in lounge room comfort … and what a view it is too through the vast forward windows.”

Below decks there is sleeping accommodation for up to six people in three generous staterooms – the forward master stateroom featuring a queen-sized island bed with quality innerspring mattress has subtle timber styling, extensive storage and an ensuite bathroom. The starboard guest stateroom provides accommodation for two with upper and lower berths and the portside stateroom features full-size twin beds with an infill for optional double bed. In both guest staterooms, you’ll find the level of comfort and amount of storage space will exceed your expectations for a yacht this size.

The open-plan flybridge offers 360-degree vision with minimal interruption thanks to a new structural and lightweight hardtop canopy. Here you will find two lounges that comfortably seat six adults (including one that converts to a daybed), a weather-proof table, wet bar, drink-holders, optional fridge, independent sound system as well as a new helm design that includes top-mounted twin-lever electronic engine control units and a choice of formats to suit an array of electronic engine display options.

“In the world of mid-sized luxury flybridges, the Riviera 45 Open model is the yacht that raises the bar; this is the yacht that says: ‘yes, you can have it all’,” said Mr McCafferty.

Belize 54 Daybridge

The new Belize 54 Daybridge is a three stateroom/two bathroom design with full-beam master stateroom and two helm stations – a delicate balance of European flair and Australian practicality and incorporating sophisticated styling, palatial appointments and clever storage solutions.

“The Belize 54 Daybridge – inspired by timeless elegance and Australian practicality – was designed to cater for the growing affection for high-end luxury motor yachts blending traditional design with the latest in marine technology, and is available in both the Daybridge and Sedan models,” said Mr McCafferty.

“In Cannes last year, the 54 Daybridge was one of just three finalists in the prestigious World Yachts Trophies awards in the ‘highest achievement’ category for vessels her size.”

“Powered by twin Cummins Zeus QSC 600 pod drives (442kW/600hp), she is a proving very popular among boating aficionados with her sophisticated styling, luxurious interior and high-performance hull design.

“The 54 Daybridge truly does have the ability to transfix an entire bay of modern craft when she glides in – and she has an impeccable blue water pedigree that is proven to handle the tough Australian offshore conditions,” concluded Mr McCafferty.

Marc and Eva Villanova – the exclusive Riviera and Belize dealers from Villanova Ship in France – are organising the Cannes display and provide excellence service from their dealership in Port Cogolin, St Tropez. Riviera and Belize dealers from Spain, Croatia, Turkey and other European destinations will also be on hand at the festival, giving the Riviera display a truly international flavour.
